About Ezekiel
Serial entrepreneur, nonprofit executive, and public servant

I'm a husband, father of three, and Flint native raising my family in the 8th Ward. My children attend Flint Community Schools where my wife and I are also involved the in the parent group. I'm a University of Michigan graduate, where I earned a degree in Political Science and captained the men's soccer team.
Professionally, I'm a social entrepreneur and the executive director of Co.act, a center for nonprofit support and innovation. I've taught community and economic development at the University of Detroit Mercy, led community projects ranging from $250K to $2.5 million, including a $2 million, 12,000-square-foot mixed-use hub, and serve as a social impact fellow with Harvard Business School. I'm also Board Chair of Good Laundry and a member of the Flint & Genesee Chamber.
I'm running because families in Flint deserve reliable services, safe neighborhoods, and real economic opportunity. With more than a decade of hands-on community and economic development experience, I see both our city's potential and the gaps holding us back, and I'm ready to help close that gap by turning ideas into visible results for the 8th Ward.
