Safer neighborhoods

Safe neighborhoods are the foundation of a thriving community. Public safety is about more than policing. It also means clean streets, strong neighborhood organizations, quality housing, and opportunities for young people and families. I will work to build partnerships that make every neighborhood feel safe, connected, and cared for.

  • Strengthen collaboration between residents, neighborhood groups, and public safety agencies

  • Address blight and vacant properties that contribute to crime and disinvestment

  • Invest in youth engagement and community-based violence prevention efforts

  • Improve lighting, beautification, and neighborhood infrastructure
